I wouldn't support somebody who didn't support me...

If I were attending the NRA Annual meeting in Philly, I wouldn't be supporting the locals in the area that were anti-2nd Ammendment. Here is a list of those to avoid.

Home Invasion - Be Prepared

This kind of stuff is on the increase. Used to be that no one would even consider breaking into a home while it was occupied. At least I thought it was that way. I'm packing heat more and more these days. The world has gone crazy and I don't want to be telling myself the day after that I should have done this or done that. I would rather do this all the time.

DRT...because the little lady was packing.

This could have turned out much differently if a gun had not been present.
Way to go. Dead Right There...DRT. Excellent.

a $4.95 cup of coffee and a kind word goes a long way

While I usually go to WaWa for my coffee on the weekend ($0.99 refill) I will make it a point to participate in Starbucks Appreciation Day this Saturday (21 Feb 2010). I advise all of my readers who believe in the 2nd Amendment to do the same.

Guns Decrease Murder Rates - Quit saying it doesn't!!

For the many liberals that read my posts...
You're wrongheaded. The problem is the actions of the criminals, not the tools. Don't restrict law-abiding people from defending themselves with guns.

Pro-Second Amendment! Keep and Bear Arms!

An article I send to people all the time to remind them of what "Keep and Bear Arms" actually means. Start sending this to your liberal friends. Send often.

Ummm, What's that?

Say What?

I'm a big supporter of open carry. I believe that an armed society is a polite society. I also believe that criminals (by definition) break laws, so passing laws to restrict guns only affects law abiding citizens. Who can argue with the logic. There are some that say, "Well, if you have a gun on your side, you are likely to overreact and shoot somebody." I counter that with, "Well, how about if I am being attacked by a 6'8" 350 lb killer, how do I stay alive?"

My friend, Chop, sent me a bunch of slogans fit for bumperstickers. I like them.

1. An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.
2. A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.
3. Colt: The original point and click interface.
4. Gun control is not about guns; it's about control.
5. If guns are outlawed, can we use swords?
6. If guns cause crime, then pencils cause misspelled words.
7. Free men do not ask permission to bear arms.

8. If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.
9. Those who trade liberty for security have neither.
10. The United States Constitution (c) 1791.. All Rights Reserved.
11. What part of 'shall not be infringed' do you not understand?
12. The Second Amendment is in place in case the politicians ignore the others.
13. 64,999,987 firearms owners killed no one yesterday.
14. Guns only have two enemies; rust and politicians.
15. Know guns, know peace, know safety. No guns, no peace, no safety.
16. You don't shoot to kill; you shoot to stay alive.
17. 911: Government sponsored Dial-a-Prayer.
18. Assault is a behavior, not a device.
19. Criminals love gun control; it makes their jobs safer.
20. If guns cause crime, then matches cause arson.
21. Only a government that is afraid of its citizens tries to control them.
22. You have only the rights you are willing to fight for.
23. Enforce the gun control laws we ALREADY have; don't make more.
24. When you remove the people's right to bear arms, you create slaves.
25. The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control.

Bat is no match for Shotgun

Story basically is this...robber attempts his trade against a convenience store manned by an armed clerk. The game is truly over before it begins.

I'm a big fan of Concealed Carry

I find it amazing that students will buy into the arguments presented by the Left. See the concise summary of these arguments and the answers to those arguments in the link below.
Students for Concealed Carry on Campus is an excellent organization that really is concerned for the safety of students. Visit their website SCCC.org.

An awesome shooter - out of the box!

My latest acquisition is this little number from Springfield Armory. Smooth action and reliability were both selling points that ultimately sold me on this gun. The additional items of holster and magazine holders was a nice little bonus.

My coworker "Ditch" who is a member of the USMC also was impressed with the action and accuracy. He is in the market for one now.
