Health Care Reform for America

Alright, now you probably know this as well as anybody. Health care Reform is trying to lower the costs to everybody while at the same time providing the best level of health care for all. There are three sides to this (at a minimum).

Cost to the doctors, cost to the patient, cost to the government (Medicare/Medicaid/VA Hospitals, etc.)

The doctors have fixed and varible costs associated with their service. One of these that is substantial but NEVER seems to be discussed it the Malpractice Insurance costs. The lawyers have been suing every doctor for major amounts of money for what the vast majority of people would see as minor problems.

Why isn't TORT REFORM a part of the Health Care Reform? Malpractice Insurance costs would drop considerably and lower the fixed costs for most.
